While dealing with the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) society has had to adapt to a new normal — at least for the time being.
To help provide fans with a sense of normalcy in these uncertain times, Tony Reali and the crew of ESPN’s Around the Horn recently began posting episodes of Around the Home on social media. In these episodes, Reali and panelists such as Woody Paige, Sarah Spain, Mina Kimes, Frank Isola, Jackie MacMullan, Bill Plaschke, Emily Kaplan, and Israel Gutierrez discuss the latest happenings and breaking news in the sports world.
In this episode, Reali, Spain, Plaschke, and Paige discuss potential landing spots for Cam Newton after the news broke that the Carolina Panthers would be releasing the 2015 NFL MVP. They also debate whether or not Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson could be on the trading block.
Teams such as the Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Chargers, New England Patriots, and Denver Broncos are thrown out as potential new teams for Newton.
When it comes to Watson’s status with the Texans, the common theme among the group is that Houston head coach/general manager Bill O’Brien should be the one packing his bags.
