The rising popularity in sports betting has changed the way many fans watch and interact with NFL games every Sunday. (If you are reading this article, you are proof of that).

San Francisco 49ers (-9.5)
Opponent: @ Washington Redskins
The Niners have arguably the best defensive front seven in the NFL, and the Redskins are an absolute disaster on offense (they aren’t great on defense, either). Let’s also not forget that this is a revenge game of sorts for San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan.
This is a game where I could see Washington notching a single-digit point total (or barely into the teens). On the other side of the ball, the Skins will struggle to slow down Shanahan’s offense.
Don’t be scared by the early start and cross-country travel for the upstart, undefeated 49ers.
Lay the points.
Prediction: 49ers 30, Redskins 10
Jacksonville Jaguars (-3.5)
Opponent: @ Cincinnati Bengals
The Jags no longer have the Jalen Ramsey situation hanging over their heads, and this is the week they’ll end their two-game losing streak.
The Bengals are in competition with the Miami Dolphins to be the worst team in the league, and Jacksonville is better than their record indicates.
Look for the Jaguars to dominate the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and win this game by two scores.
Prediction: Jaguars 24, Bengals 13
Houston Texans (+1)
Opponent: @ Indianapolis Colts
This game is essentially a pick ’em, and I’m going with the Texans to pull of the (slight) road upset win. The reason why: quarterback Deshaun Watson is playing MVP-caliber football right now.
Expect this game to be decided in the final few minutes with Houston ultimately prevailing.
Prediction: Texans 27, Colts 24
